The relaunch of the Auckland Champs was replanned after the postponement of the City of Sails Auckland Regatta.

This should be an awesome one day regatta at the height of summer and Auckland sea breezes.  It is also great practice for the Nationals in March.

First on line will win the magnificent and recently rediscovered Kava Bowl trophy. 

We will also reapply the amendment allowing boats to sail either "Max crew number 7" or "Max crew weight 616kgs declared with no limit on numbers". This gives light weight crews the opportunity to add extras (often youth or women's crews) to get closer overall to a boat with 7 "heavies" aboard.

It is also a great opportunity to get your kids out or invite some keen young dinghy sailors aboard to experience a "big boat" regatta.
