August 12th is RNZYS' inaugural Womens Day Out

• 
• This is a great opportunity to grow sailing in Auckland and in Y88s in line of one of the strongest global trends in  the sport.
  • "The Women’s Day Out is designed for girls, teenagers and adults of all ages to participate on the water. Whether you have years of experience, have done a few Rum Races or are completely brand new to the sport, there is a place for everyone"
• Please promote as a fun day out to the experienced and inexperienced sailing women in your circle
• Even better if you can make your boat available .... plus the men are invited too.. plus the skipper gets fed for free!

Oct 20 is Y88s @ Coastal Classic

• Entries are open and this one takes a bit of prep
• Last year we had a very competitve fleet of 5. We currently have 3 definite entries and a bunch of maybes
• The race is fun, the trophy awesome and the raft up party at the wharf after finishing even better
• 

Jan 24 - 26 is Y88s @ Bay of Islands Sailing Week

Summer is nearly here (really??) .. well it does always pay to plan early.
